Adoption Pending - Otto the Dog needs a home
Otto is a cute, 8 year old, male, red smooth, dachshund mix. He is a happy dog with a friendly personality. He gets along well with the two dogs and cat in his foster home. He likes attention and likes to cuddle next to his foster day on the couch. Otto is calm and friendly when meeting strange dogs. He is also friendly when meeting new people.
Otto has had all his shots and is scheduled to be neutered in mid Feb.
Although picked up as a stray, Otto shows all the signs of having lived in a home. He is house trained, comfortable in his crate and walks well on leash
Otto rarely barks except when separated from the rest of the family or in support of the pack when the resident dogs bark at something.
Otto is a low maintenance guy and would be a great companion or family member in almost any home environment.

Adoption Fee: $250.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses. Transportation Help If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
